The ability to store energy increasingly influences how energy systems operate.

Many observers focus on batteries, battery technologies, manufacturing capacity, or energy projects.

The discussion frequently centers on storage devices themselves.

The systems enabled by energy storage receive less attention.

While reviewing developments across renewable energy, grid modernization, industrial infrastructure, and energy resilience, I found myself paying less attention to batteries and more attention to the continuity they support.

The battery remained visible.

The resilience infrastructure became visible.

The observation was not about storage technology alone.

The observation was about continuity.
