Many observers focus on individual operations.

The discussion frequently centers on performance.

The systems ensuring operations occur at the correct time receive less attention.

While reviewing developments across financial markets, cloud computing, logistics networks, telecommunications, and industrial automation, I found myself paying less attention to individual activities and more attention to the infrastructure synchronizing them.

The operation remained visible.

The synchronization infrastructure became visible.

The observation was not about timing alone.

The observation was about continuity.
