The discussion frequently centers on who operates a system.
The responsibility to preserve capability beyond immediate needs receives less attention.
While reviewing developments across infrastructure, governance, healthcare, finance, logistics, manufacturing, scientific research, natural resources, and digital systems, I found myself paying less attention to temporary control and more attention to the stewardship allowing interconnected systems to preserve capability across time.
