The discussion frequently centers on what individuals or institutions say they intend to do.
The sustained commitment required to continue effort across time receives less attention.
While reviewing developments across infrastructure, governance, healthcare, finance, logistics, manufacturing, scientific research, and digital systems, I found myself paying less attention to declarations of intent and more attention to the commitment allowing interconnected capabilities to remain engaged over time.
