Infrastructure depends on attribution.

Many observers focus on authorship or ownership.
The discussion frequently centers on giving credit.
The structural capability allowing systems to permanently preserve provenance and responsibility across interconnected operations receives less attention.
While reviewing developments across infrastructure, governance, healthcare, finance, logistics, manufacturing, scientific research, and digital systems, I found myself paying less attention to names attached to work and more attention to the attribution allowing systems to preserve origin through trustworthy evidence.
