Many observers focus on attendance, membership, or involvement.
The discussion frequently centers on the number of participants.
The structural capability allowing participation to strengthen organizational resilience and coordinated action receives less attention.
While reviewing developments across infrastructure, governance, healthcare, finance, logistics, manufacturing, scientific research, public administration, and digital systems, I found myself paying less attention to participation statistics and more attention to the participation systems enabling sustained collective engagement.
