The discussion frequently centers on what systems can build or achieve.
The sustained capability required to keep those systems functioning over time receives less attention.
While reviewing developments across infrastructure, governance, healthcare, finance, logistics, manufacturing, scientific research, and digital systems, I found myself paying less attention to initial capability and more attention to the sustainment allowing interconnected systems to remain operational over time.
The operation remained visible.
